Australian Marine Science Conference Eventranet 2017
About the presenter
I am a post-graduate research student from Sydney, Australia. I am passionate about sustainable management of highly urbanized estuaries in order to minimise human impacts on the environment. This led me to become a part of the Evolution and Ecology Research Centre (E&ERC;) at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) to complete a PhD with the aim of assessing the sources, distribution and management implications for marine debris within Sydney Harbour. As well as my research I am a student representative for the Australian Marine Sciences Association (AMSA NSW), enjoy organising and participating in beach clean up events and partake in teaching programs such as educating local high school children about marine debris through the Sydney Institute of Marine Science (SIMS).
