About the presenter
I am currently completing my PhD at The University of New South Wales. My research looks at whether we can apply the principles of trait-based ecology to subtidal macroalgae reefs, in order to better understand how community structure and ecosystem functioning might respond to environmental change. In particular I'm interested in whether we can use the functional traits of macroalgae to predict associated community structure and the role that inter- and intra-specific variation play in determining these associated communities.
