About the presenter
I am a marine biologist from Colombia with a Master in Marine Sciences and a PhD in Ecology and Evolution. Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at CSIRO working on the research line of Marine Genomics and Climate Change. My research interests are related to the genetic-functional relationships that exist between physiological and life-history traits in different biological models. Moreover, I am particularly interested in the understanding of adaptive evolution of physiological traits along environmental gradients and in response to anthropogenetic change such climate change, and ocean acidification. Technically, I focus on the interaction of quantitative genetic (phenotypic level), and molecular (proteomics, transcriptomics, genomics).
